The airport has two medical assistance points. One is in Terminal 4, the new terminal, on Level 0 Arrivals. Both airport pharmacies are in the older section, one on the ground floor of Terminal 1 and the other on the 2nd floor of Terminal 2. Facilities for Special Needs Passengers
When reserving a ticket for travel through Barajas, passengers should remember to tell their airline of any particular requirements. Wheelchairs may be requested at the airport. The airport also offers a new Individual Support Service for Passengers with Impaired Sight, which sends messages with flight details to mobile phones. Tourist Office
Three tourist offices serve passengers: The first is located in Terminal 1 Arrivals lobby; and the second and third are in the Terminal 4 baggage reclaim halls. Left Luggage / Baggage Storage Both the old and new sections of the airport have left luggage offices: They are located in Terminal 4, Terminal 2 and Terminal 1. All luggage is closely screened for security reasons. However, as with all left luggage offices it is possible that these facilities may have to be shut at short notice. Price for locker rental
(current as of 28th April 2008): part or whole of one day*, €3.70
(large and small locker) Lost Luggage Airlines operate the missing baggage services, so if checked in luggage goes astray, passengers should contact their airline directly. |
